Job Overview:The Facility Management Energy Manager provides leadership to the Facility Call Center Energy Team and who oversees building automation and monitoring systems. Position will develop strategies to increase energy management savings through analyzing, monitoring and scheduling. The position works with the regional teams and Central Energy Group to facilitate solutions to ongoing issues and to standardize work practices. Participates and shares responsibilities with Facility Management Call Center Management team with the daily operations at the FAST Call Center. Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Functions:* Oversee task execution and management including oversight of energy management systems and monitoring systems.* Analyze and report energy consumption overages.* Work with field and central energy teams in establishing company approved EMS operating parameters to optimize the system usage and reduce consumption. Monitors and manages energy standards in partnership with the Central Energy Group.* Develop a team relationship with the Call Center Manger and share responsibilities over the daily operation of the call center.* Coaching, mentoring and developing the energy management team.* Networking and supporting the regional facility team and business partners in the central organization.* Develops strategic initiatives to further refine and improve energy management scheduling and savings.* Operates the Macy's Work Order System (on job training).* Answer trouble calls from stores and take necessary action according to Facility Management procedures and policies.* Support facility team and stores.* Regular, dependable attendance & punctualityQualifications:Education/Experience:* Bachelor's Degree required Master's preferred (Engineering or Business Management preferred).* 4-5 years previous management experience preferredCommunication Skills:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.* Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.Mathematical Skills:* Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Reasoning Ability:* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical Demands:* This position requires regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.* May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.* Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Other Skills:* Strong computer skills and high comfort level with technology.* Experience in one or more of the following energy management systems preferred: TAC Andover 256, Infinity, Continuum or INET, as well as HI Solutions.* Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.* Relentless drive for results and a strong sense of urgency.* Ability to define concerns and provide appropriate solutions.* Ability to create and ensure accuracy of reports.* Ability to monitor and maneuver workflow to achieve priorities.* Capable of accepting feedback creatively to deliver improved results.* Strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-up skills.* Ability to train and develop people.* Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills.Work Hours:* Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays based on department/store/company needs.This job description is not all inclusive.
